Vinyl has seen a real resurgence in population recently. It seems only a couple of years ago that the LP was regarded as being close to extinction, but in 2015, it’s more popular than ever.

In the US, vinyl sales went up by 52% between 2014 and 2013 and Australia saw a massive 127% rise in sales over the same time period whilst it’s reported that over half of the UK music sales are from physical products.

Our friends over at Liberty Games have looked at how vinyl records have managed to make a comeback and just how popular they are right now – from who’s buying the records to what the biggest records of last year were in the US and UK. Some of the results might surprise you.
